Business Background

At the age of 19, I bought my first business, Keener Welding, from the retiring owner.  Keener Welding primarily serviced the farming community in welding repair.  I was a sole-proprietor with 2 employees and changed the name to Patterson Welding.

In 1990, I incorporated and changed the name to C&P Eng & Mfg to pursue fabrication and material handling in the automotive industry. 

In 2001, I purchased CiC Industries, an industrial powder coating facility, which allowed me to extend the services I offered to my customers.
In 2009, I merged CiC Industries into C&P Eng & Mfg to allow us to reduce operating costs, while still providing the same products and services for our customers.
